WSOP Circuit 2025 to Hold at Holland Casino Amsterdam
The world's premier poker tournament, the World Series of Poker (WSOP), is coming to the Netherlands.
Holland Casino has hosted the WSOP International Circuit annually since 2017.
LISTEN TO THIS ARTICLE:Holland Casino Amsterdam Centrum has confirmed that it has been selected as the WSOP Circuit for March 2025. The poker tournament, which will be held from 14 to 22 March, signifies the end of the World Poker Tour (WPT) partnership, which has been a staple since 2015.
As such, The 2024 WPT Prime event in Amsterdam will mark the finale of the partnership between Holland Casino and the WPT, following a mutual decision to part ways. The WPT has consistently run in Amsterdam since 2015, interrupted only once in 2021 by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 2024 Main Event witnessed record participation, attracting 1,340 participants in the €1,100 Main Event, a new benchmark for poker events in the Netherlands.

The collaboration between Holland Casino Amsterdam Centrum and the WSOP represents a new milestone in their existing partnership. Holland Casino has hosted the WSOP International Circuit annually since 2017, with recent events held at Venlo and Rotterdam locations.
As stated by Holland Casino on its website, the Venlo event will continue to be a fixture on the schedule.

GGPoker Completes WSOP Purchase
Recently, NSUS Group, the parent company of Dutch gambling operator GGPoker, finalized its acquisition of WSOP in a $500 million deal. The payment structure consists of a 50% upfront payment ($250 million) and a five-year deferred payment plan for the remaining 50%.
Under the terms of the deal, Caesars will continue organizing the WSOP in Las Vegas for the next 20 years but will now be under GGPoker's brand umbrella.
