WPT’s Move Shift Toward New Online Markets

The WPT’s partnership with PokerBaazi is part of its efforts to reach new audiences online. It comes after the organization recently cancelled an event in Macau that was scheduled for June without providing further details. Instead, WPT’s focus has increasingly moved toward markets such as India, where a growing interest in poker offers a promising opportunity to cultivate a global network of high-stakes players.

It hopes to develop an international poker community where players from various regions can compete in prestigious events and demonstrate their skills and knowledge of the game.
