Willem van Oort Appointed to Mindway AI Board
Mindway AI, the responsible gambling software company, has announced the appointment of Willem van Oort to its Board of Directors. He brings with him a vast amount of experience, having worked as an independent iGaming Consultant and founded a number of European iGaming communities, such as Gaming in Holland.

Mindway AI develops artificial intelligence-based automatic detection and monitoring systems inspired by neuroscience. They aim to provide operators, regulators, governments, and so on, with tools to help detect problem gambling behavior.
Together with Van Oort on the Board of Directors are the company founder, Professor Kim Mouridsen, the Better Collective CFO Flemming Pedersen, and the former Director-General of the Danish Gambling Authority, Birgitte Sand, who now works at Birgitte Sand and Associates.

As mentioned, Van Oort currently works as an independent iGaming consultant. In addition to founding the B2B community Gaming in Holland, he has also founded Gaming in Spain and Gaming in Germany, and he is currently a member of IMGL, IAGA, and Jdigital Associations.
Speaking about his appointment, Van Oort described Mindway AI’s products as “truly innovative, science-based solutions to detect at-risk gambling behavior” and said that the company has “great growth potential”.
Van Oort added, “I’m excited to become a member of the Board of Directors and help guide Mindway AI’s commercial development as it stands before an expansion into new markets.”
