White House Security Advisor to Speak at AML Gaming Conference

The BSA-AML Compliance Group, the Anti Money Laundering (AML) training and compliance company has announced it has secured the service of Carole House, the White House National Security Council (NSC) Special Advisor for Cybersecurity and Critical Infrastructure, who will be a key speaker at the company’s annual AML and compliance conference, the BSA/AML Gaming Conference.

The conference will be held in August and takes place at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas. Carole House has a wealth of experience in the cybersecurity industry and has held several key roles in the industry. She has served at the NSC as the Director for Cybersecurity and Secure Digital Innovation, as well as in a similar role in the crime enforcement division of the U.S. Treasury.

At the conference, Carole House will speak to a worldwide audience from the gaming industry and will cover the topics of emerging technology and the risks these changes pose to the gaming industry. She will provide insight on steps gambling companies can take to prevent harm the risks pose to gambling businesses.

Conference Is the Largest AML Compliance Event in the US

The BSA-AML Compliance Group states their annual conference is the largest event of its type in the calendar held in North America. The event is dedicated to AML relating to the gaming industry and the conference last year was attended by representatives of forty-one states, four overseas countries, and more than a hundred tribal gaming entities.

As well as Carole House the conference will feature additional speakers, including Brian Nelson, the Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, and James Barnacle, Deputy Assistant Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The Compliance Group has listed some of the topics that will be covered in the conference next month such as the latest developments in AML prevention. As well as current threats from fraud and cyber security that may be targeted at casino and gaming operators.
