Sunset Station Casino Starts Renovation on New Sportsbook
LISTEN TO THIS ARTICLE:Sunset Station Hotel and Casino, the gaming operator owned by Red Rock Resorts, has announced it will be renovating the gaming facilities at the Las Vegas venue.
Planned refurbishment changes to the gaming facilities at the casino include an upgraded sportsbook and a range of changes to the casino floor space.

In the statement, leadership at the Sunset Station Casino outlined details of the refurbishment and outlined that the changes would be carried out in a set of phases.
We are thrilled to bring our guests an all-new gaming and sports betting offering in the coming months at Sunset Station, for more than 25 years, Sunset Station has continued to raise the bar for our Henderson neighbors – this remodel will no doubt offer a best-in-class experience for our guests.
New STN Sportsbook
Part of the refurbishment at the casino will include a new state-of-the-art STN Sportsbook, which is to replace the current Sunset Station’s Race and Sportsbook at the venue. Gaming facilities at the new sportsbook will feature a centerpiece 150-foot video wall for customers to watch sports games. There will be multiple race and sports betting kiosks, accompanied by lounge-style seating for the comfort of customers.
The facilities will contain a large bar area with dining options, beer and cocktail refreshments, and convenient bartop gaming for customers.
A temporary sportsbook will be opened in the casino while the completion of the new STN Sportsbook takes place. The temporary sportsbook will be located by the Rewards Center, and customers can place sports bets over the counter or at sports betting kiosks situated throughout the casino. During the renovation, the casino will still hold Football nights for customers to enjoy the game, and this will be located in Club Madrid.
Casino Floor and Slots
As well as a new sportsbook, the casino floor will also undergo a major refurbishment. The casino is to retain the Station Casino's familiar Spanish-themed design but will feature an updated and modern upgrade, including all-new carpet, improved lighting, updated façades, and modernized restrooms.
Currently, there is a portfolio of slot games situated in the existing High Limit Slot Room, and this room will be moved in its entirety to be incorporated into the new Sportsbook venue.
