The approvals allow the two companies to launch their digital betting operations in the state. To secure the greenlight, Sporttrade teams up with the Quechan Indian Tribe of the Fort Yuma Indian reservation, while Plannatech will collaborate with the San Carlos Apache Tribal Gaming Enterprise.

The two partnership spots opened up after Unibet, previously partnered with the Quechan Tribe, and Wynnbet, partnered with the San Carlos Apache Tribe, exited the Arizona market.

By securing market access into the Grand Canyon State, Sporttrade is now licensed across four jurisdictions in the US, including Iowa, New Jersey and Colorado.

Sporttrade's platform allows users to experience a one-of-a-kind feature called a Limit Order, which essentially means that customers can ask for their own, unique price. The operator currently has the Limit Order feature available in three states - New Jersey, Colorado and Iowa.

Headquartered in the Isle of Man, Plannatech is a provider of innovative sports betting solutions. The company powers the backend for Prime Sports, a sports betting platform currently operational in New Jersey and Ohio.

License Openings in Arizona Market

The ADG reopened its application process in July. Initially, it planned to award at least one license to a tribal entity and one to a pro sports franchise. The state's sports betting law allows up to 20 licenses, divided evenly between tribal casinos and pro sports teams.

Following the ADG's announcement, an additional tribal license became available after SuperBook ended its operations in Arizona and other states outside of Nevada. SaharaBets also exited the state after the Coyotes' sale and relocation to Utah.
