According to the regulator, Trustdice.win, a gambling site owned and managed by Satoshi Gaming, has been accepting bets from Swedish customers without proper authorization. The site allowed Swedish players to create accounts and access games despite lacking a license to operate in the country.

Additionally, Spelinspektionen found that Trustdice.win deliberately targeted Swedish residents by using the Swedish language in its terms and conditions and offering promotions tailored to local players.

Ban Prompted by Satoshi Gaming's Inaction

When the allegations first emerged in February, Satoshi Gaming claimed that it had taken steps to block Swedish players from accessing the site. However, Spelinspektionen, in a follow-up investigation, found that Trustdice.win had blocked its IP address but remained accessible via other addresses.

The regulator informed Satoshi Gaming of the new findings in March, and the operator pledged to improve its player-blocking measures and remove remaining Swedish content on the site.

While Satoshi Gaming didn't specify when these measures would be implemented, Spelinspektionen noted that as of last week, the site had yet to cease operations in Sweden. In response, the regulator has now banned the operator effectively immediately.

A statement from Spelinspektionen read: "We consider that, in the interests of consumer protection and to guarantee gaming safety, it is important that the decision is complied with immediately. The decision shall, therefore, apply immediately.

ASG 360 Banned in Sweden

The latest enforcement action comes weeks after Spelinspektionen banned ASG 360 Services, the operator behind the GG.bet brand, for also operating in its jurisdiction without approval.

Like Satoshi Gaming, ASG 360 holds a gambling license in Curaçao. However, the regulator maintained that this does not permit them to offer their services in Sweden.

According to data published by ATG on March 13, GG.bet ranked as one of Sweden's most visited unlicensed gambling sites in Q4 2024. Until the ban, the company allegedly did not respond to Spelinspektionen's inquiries on the issue.
