Shelley White to Step Down as RGC CEO
CEO of the Responsible Gambling Council, Shelley White, has announced her imminent departure from the organization.
The RGC noted that White's commitment to the Council's goals has been unparalleled.
LISTEN TO THIS ARTICLE:After nearly eight years at the helm, White will retire in December, marking the end of a remarkable tenure that began in February 2017.
Prior to joining the RGC, White served for close to 14 years as the CEO of United Way of Peel Region, a social services organization in the Peel Region of the Greater Toronto Area.

Together, we have advanced RGC’s vital mission, vision, and values. Today, RGC is a global leader that is having a profound impact on creating a responsible gambling ecosystem. In a LinkedIn post about the development, the RGC congratulated White on her upcoming retirement and praised her dedication to the organization and its mission. The Council further noted that White's commitment to the RGC and the entities it serves globally has been unparalleled.

However, the RGC has started the search for Shelley's successor. In its job listing for the position, the RGC stated that it wants a visionary CEO who can lead and implement the organization's strategic plan for the years ahead.
Key responsibilities include effectively collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders, encompassing politicians, gaming operators, regulators, manufacturers, sports leagues, community partners, and treatment providers. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership, strategic acumen, and stakeholder management expertise to drive the RGC's mission forward.
