Set Your Foot Tapping with MGA Games’ New El Koala Slot
MGA Games, the Spanish slots developer that specializes in localized content, has just launched its latest title based upon Spanish celebrities, El Koala.
The slot is based upon the singer from Malaga, who picked up the nickname El Koala when he worked as a bricklayer. He is credited with creating the Rustic Rock musical movement, and his first album was awarded a Gold Record after selling 40,000 copies. Furthermore, the music video of his first single from the album, Opá, yo viazé un corrá (Dad, I’m gonna make a chicken run), went viral in the days before social networks and gathered more than 21 million views on YouTube.
El Koala’s music and humor are brought together in the new slot. It is a 3x3 game that features plenty of El Koala’s music together with original voiceovers that the singer recorded specifically for the slot.
The game has been designed to reflect El Koala’s love of music and the countryside. As such, the action takes place on a farm while El Koala can be seen holding a guitar to the left of the reels. On the reels are traditional fruit symbols together with electric guitars, baskets of vegetables, bales of hay, and chicken coops.
MGA Games have incorporated four mini-games into the slot, three in the upper screen and one in the main screen. Each of the games is triggered at random by landing winning combinations on certain prize lines. The games are hugely varied and include concrete mixers loaded with cash, fields that need to be harvested, chicken coops that are hiding treasures, and more.
The slot, which has an RTP of 95%, is now live with several Spanish-facing operators, and it offers payouts of up to €15,000. It comes just a few weeks after MGA Games released Teresa Guilherme Rainha da Pérsia slot for the Portuguese market.
