Scientific Games Extends its Contract with the Puerto Rico Lottery
Scientific Games, the global leader in providing digital game and lottery services, has announced it has signed a supply agreement with Lotería Electrónica, the national lottery of Puerto Rico, which continues the successful partnership between the two parties.

LISTEN TO THIS ARTICLE:The partnership is an 8-year contract and builds on the two decades of collaboration with Scientific Games. The statement outlined the partnership has seen sales of Lotería Electrónica products rise by 65% since 2005, with profits at the lottery provider enjoying an increase of 81% over the same time period.
This success has seen Lotería Electrónica listed in the top 10 US lotteries for per capita draw game sales and instant game per capita sales In the region. If the partnership continues to be successful both parties have the option to extend the agreement for an extra two years.

Scientific Games to Modernize Lotería Electrónica
As part of the partnership Scientific Games has agreed to provide upgrades to the national lottery system in Puerto Rico, including to the instant game management program. There will also be new technologies implemented in the retailer terminals and self-service machines.
Additionally, Scientific Games has developed a new mobile app for Lotería Electrónica containing extra features, games, and promotions to increase engagement with players in the country.
This deal continues to cement Scientific Games as one of the industry’s main lottery systems providers and comes shortly after a similar agreement that sees a Scientific Games deal to provide lottery technology in Germany.
