Robinson to Lead Marketing for Live! Casino Louisiana
The Cordish Gaming Group, a subsidiary of Cordish Companies, has named Joshua Robinson Vice President of Marketing for its new Live! Casino and Hotel Louisiana development.

Slated to launch in Q1 2025, the $270m-plus Live! Casino and Hotel Louisiana will make its grand debut in Bossier City, marking a milestone as the first land-based casino in the Shreveport-Bossier market.
The luxury casino and hotel will cover 47,000 square feet of gaming space, with over 1,000 slot machines, 40 live-action table games and a state-of-the-art sportsbook.
In his role as VP of Marketing, Robinson will spearhead the development and implementation of marketing strategies at the casino. He will also oversee the marketing department's day-to-day operations, develop and execute marketing programs, launch traditional and social media campaigns and more.
Robinson's extensive background in marketing leadership and hotel operations will serve as a valuable asset in driving the success of Live! Casino and Hotel Louisiana, and delivering engaging experiences for its customers.
His rich career boasts senior marketing positions at various gaming and hospitality brands, including Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino as Chief Marketing Officer and L'Auberge as VP of Marketing. He has also served as the VP of Marketing and Hotel Operations at Margaritaville Resort Casino.

Live! Casino and Hotel to Boost Louisiana Economy
The Live! Casino and Hotel Louisiana development is projected to generate $35 million in gaming tax revenues for Bossier City and $168 million for the state of Louisiana within its first five years of operation.
Additionally, the project is expected to generate 1,500 new jobs comprising 750 construction jobs and 750 permanent roles.
On July 17, Cordish Companies hosted a 'Topping Off' ceremony for the hotel-casino. This ceremony involved painting the final beam white and having it signed by the steel erection crew, construction team, designers, owners, and dignitaries.
