Penn National Leads with Massive Revenue Increase

Online casinos brought in $195.6 million in June 2024 PA revenue. In July, it sailed to $215.4 million, marking a nearly $20 million increase (10.1%).

Valley Forge emerged as a significant performer in the Keystone State, experiencing a robust growth of 22.49% from June to July. This jump saw Valley Forge’s revenue increase from $46,259,074 in June to an impressive $56,663,139 in July, underscoring its growing popularity.

Similarly, Mohegan also experienced remarkable growth, with a substantial 29.18% increase in revenue. Mohegan's earnings climbed from $1,713,767 in June to $2,213,793 in July, reflecting the casino’s successful strategies in attracting more players during this period.

Looking at the broader performance of online casinos in Pennsylvania, Penn National led the pack with a dominant revenue of $77,938,036. Following closely was Valley Forge with its impressive $56,663,139, further solidifying its position in the market. Rivers Philadelphia secured the third spot with $37,729,397.

On the other hand, not all casinos fared well. Wind Creek, in particular, faced a challenging period, witnessing a significant 21.52% decline in revenue, dropping from $2,790,810 in June to $2,190,331 in July, making it the biggest “loser” during this timeframe.

The July 2024 revenue was the third-highest in state history. The two months with revenue over $216 million also came in 2024.

● January: $189 million.

In all, online casinos in Pennsylvania have brought in $1,477,362,888 in revenue. To date, this is a massive increase compared to this time in 2023, which was $1,163,346,579 in revenue.

The biggest increase was from July 2023 to July 2024. In July 2023, Pennsylvania online casinos drew $157,094,874 in revenue. The $215.4 million this year was a 37.10% increase.
