Playtech and Paysafe Announce Partnership Extension

Paysafe, the popular payment method, has announced a new global partnership with Playtech, the gambling technology giant. The new partnership is an extension of an existing agreement between the two companies that will take them into the UK and Europe from the US, where Playtech already offers Paysafe’s solutions to iGaming operator customers through its platform.

The deal means that operators in the UK and Europe will be able to make use of Playtech’s iGaming PAM, Information Management Solution (IMS) platform to access a number of Paysafe’s payment solutions. At first, it will be limited to payment acquiring and card processing, and Paysafe’s digital wallet services will be added in the near future.

The partnership extension comes after Paysafe and Playtech successfully integrated with betPARX in the US. Paysafe has been providing the operator with payment solutions for its iGaming brand Play Gun Lake in Michigan since Q2 2021 and for its betPARX iGaming and sportsbook app in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey since Q1 2022.
