On Air Entertainment Receives Microgaming Backing
Microgaming is re-entering the live casino market through the backing of the Malta-based live dealer specialist On Air Entertainment.
Powered by Microgaming, On Air Entertainment has a state-of-the-art studio in Riga, Latvia, while it carries out its development work in both Latvia and Estonia. The company is hoping to launch a range of classic and bespoke live casino games early next year.
Microgaming has said that it aims to “reinvigorate the live casino industry” through its backing of the company. John Coleman, Microgaming’s CEO, said that On Air Entertainment “represents a new evolution of live casino gaming, possessing all the experience, talent and passion required to innovate in the live casino space. I am delighted that Microgaming is playing an integral part in their exciting journey.”
On Air Entertainment said that over the coming months it is expecting to undergo “rapid growth” as it strives to bring “competitive, customisable and world-leading content to the table”.
Our vision is to be the global innovator of choice for tailored live casino experiences, and to achieve this we’re bringing together the very brightest and best live casino talent from across the industry. Powered by Microgaming, we will have access to unrivalled customer and market reach, this is a game-changer for us, and we can’t wait to begin broadcasting together.
The last few months have been a busy period for Microgaming. The company announced a number of commercial deals in May, including new partnerships with the Reno-based Gold Coin Studios, the Solverde Group, and the platform and content provider Blox.
