OKTO Partners with Certus Technologies for EU Expansion
In a bid to boost its European growth plans, OKTO has agreed a partnership with Certus Technologies as it bids to increase its status in the casino management niche of the industry.
As a result, it will see OKTO be able to provide its digital payment technology to gaming machines in a number of casinos across the continent, though more specifically, initially in France and the Netherlands.
Payment technology has made a number of sophisticated strides forward over the last few years, with casinos always on the lookout for new ways to streamline the customer experience and make it more efficient.
OKTO Continuing Its Growth Trajectory
This is just one deal in a line of agreements for OKTO, who recently partnered with the Superbet Group in Romania.
OKTO is committed to delivering powerful payments technology blended with responsible gaming tools that retail operators need to provide their users and working with partners to expand into new markets.
Our partnership with Certus is well-timed, ahead of the biggest, and most influential business-to-business show for all sectors of the international gaming industry – ICE London. We are in line with Certus in our mission to meet equally gaming operators and player demands for frictionless and immersive payment experiences.
There is clearly a substantial amount of optimism for the payment company which has put a lot of time into research and understanding what consumers want from their casino experience and how it can make things smoother. For customers, one of the most important elements is efficiency, especially surrounding the processing of transactions and it is hoped that this partnership can help to make things easier.
Meanwhile, Jean Louis Fiorucci, Co-Founder & CTO of Certus Technologies, said: “We are excited to be launching this partnership with OKTO. Integrating OKTO’s advanced digital payments technology with our cutting-edge casino management system, to deliver frictionless payments experiences that players expect, resulting in higher containment rates, an increase in different customer segments and better monitoring in players’ safety.”
To What Extent Can OKTO Capitalise in Europe?
What is clear, is that OKTO have pinpointed certain markets on the continent as ones where it can have a major impact. Certainly, the Netherlands over the last year has witnessed significant growth, despite only launching in October 2021 as well as facing heavy regulatory scrutiny.
The deal with Superbet is somewhat of a landmark achievement, especially considering that it is a major operator in Romania, which in itself is arguably the biggest brand in the country, representing a significant proportion of the country’s sports betting market.
It could also be a catalyst for further deals with other brands in Europe, with many seemingly keen to provide customers with as many effective payment solutions as possible.
Meanwhile, partnering with Certus Technologies, can help it to further enhance the strength of its reputation, with the hope that the company’s results will be even more effective.
