Ocean Casino Resorts Announces $50M Renovation Project
Ocean Casino Resort has said that it is spending $50 million on a series of upgrades this year, including completing renovations on its rooms and suites, expanding the casino floor, and introducing several new dining experiences.

$270M to Be Spent over Seven Years
The investment is part of a larger, long-term initiative that aims to boost the property’s standing in Atlantic City’s competitive market of land-based casinos and hotels. The latest round of renovations is one of the final phases of an extensive improvement plan that has been taking place for several years. This year, Ocean’s improvements will center around enriching the guest experience, not only through revamped accommodations and expanded dining options but also by boosting the casino’s appeal, which remains a cornerstone of the resort’s profitability.
Altogether, the resort plans to invest as much as $270 million over seven years, to ensure that it remains a must-visit destination for both new and returning travelers.

A significant portion of this year’s upgrades, about $25 million, will go toward the new Ocean Blu Rooms & Suites. These updated accommodations are the final phase of a complete makeover of all 1,860 rooms across the resort. Renovations have been rolled out in stages over the last few years, with newly redesigned spaces revealed in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
Ocean Casino Resort is also launching two new restaurants in partnership with renowned restaurateur Stephen Starr, known for his STARR Restaurants brand. There is also a new steakhouse, High Steaks, and the casino will see its Asian Gaming area doubled. Set to open this summer, the upgraded space will grow from 4,000 to 8,000 square feet and feature 32 tables offering classic games such as Mini Baccarat and Pai Gow Poker.
