NJ Transit Signs First-Ever Naming Rights Deal with BetMGM
BetMGM has partnered with New Jersey Transit in a three-year deal that will see it get naming rights for the Meadowlands Rail Line in New Jersey.
Under the terms of the agreement, the NJ Transit’s Meadowlands Rail Line will be renamed the BetMGM Meadowlands Rail Line.
The deal is significant for the state-owned public transportation system as it is the first naming rights agreement it would sign with a third-party entity. It would also boost its non-fare revenue through.
The Murphy Administration is committed to keeping fares stable for NJ Transit customers. Partnering with BetMGM is a step towards that commitment by identifying new revenue streams that help keep fares affordable.
Furthermore, through its advertising partner Intersection, NJ Transit has also inked “a comprehensive, multi-year advertising program” deal with the online betting operator. The agreement will see Intersection advertise BetMGM in print and digital format throughout the system.
BetMGM is thrilled to announce this groundbreaking partnership with NJ Transit. The creation of the BetMGM Meadowlands Rail Line generates unparalleled exposure to our leading igaming brand, through station signage and rider volume – particularly on our favourite day of the week: gameday.
Earlier this month, BetMGM partnered with Arizona Cardinals to open the first retail sportsbook in an NFL stadium.
