New Dates for ICE and iGB London
With the Omicron Covid variant causing havoc across Europe, Clarion Gaming has announced that ICE and iGB Affiliate London have been postponed. The events were due to take place on 1-3 February and 2-5 February 2022, but they have been delayed until the spring.
More than 700 exhibitors are expected across the two events, and Clarion Gaming is currently carrying out due diligence on two potential dates in April. The events will be held at the ExCeL London, and new dates are expected to be announced shortly.
This comes as really disappointing news for everyone connected with ICE London and iGB Affiliate London. However, in what is a rapidly changing situation, it became clear that we could not provide the certainty that our customers need in terms of logistical planning, from the construction of stands to the transportation of equipment, as well as the booking of flights and accommodation.
Hunter explained that following consultations with the industry, it became clear that moving the events to April was “the best route forward.” He added that while it is a shame to delay the events, he is confident that “the brand and its international community of stakeholders will bounce back in spring.”
Final dates are expected to be confirmed later this week, by Wednesday 22 December at the latest. The shows are said to be in “great shape,” with each attracting more attendee registrations and exhibitors than the last editions in 2020.
Hunter added, “I would like to put on the record my huge thanks to the industry for its patience and understanding during these uncertain times.”
