Microgame and ORYX Gaming Sign Content Deal
ORYX Gaming, part of the Bragg Gaming Group, has announced that it will be entering the Italian online gambling market following the signing of a content distribution deal with the country’s leading local operator, Microgame.
As part of the deal, Egyptian Magic, the first title released by Bragg’s new studio Atomic Slot Lab, will also be made available to Italian players. It will join a selection of titles from ORYX Gaming, including Respins of Amun-Re, Golden Nights, and Royal Seven, with more games set to follow.
In 2006, Italy was the first among major countries in continental Europe to regulate online gambling, and it is now the second-largest regulated market on the continent. H2 Gambling Capital has estimated that Italy’s online casino revenues will reach $2.3 billion in 2022.
Microgame has more than 20 years of experience. It offers a complete and flexible online casino and betting platform that has been adopted by many of Italy’s leading online casino brands.
Bragg’s entry to Italy comes after recent launches in numerous other key markets, including the UK, Netherlands, Greece, Czech Republic, Germany, and Switzerland.
This agreement that will see us enter Italy, the second biggest online market in Europe, is another watershed moment for us and comes several months after we took our content live in the UK, Europe’s largest iGaming market, underlining our commitment to expand in large and established regulated markets. Our partnering with Microgame, Italy’s largest B2B provider, gives us access to numerous leading operators in the country, which will enable us to reach a wide local audience from the outset. It’s an exciting time for Bragg as we continue our growth trajectory in new markets with more expansion still to come.
Marco Castaldo, the CEO at Microgame, added, “Our goal is to bring first-class entertainment to our players, and with ORYX content’s proven popularity, we are thrilled to be the first partner to introduce it in Italy.”
