Mecca Bingo Unites Online and Retail Players with Slots Tournament
Mecca Bingo recently hosted its first-ever cross-channel slots tournament in Luton, Bedfordshire.

The tournament, which was sponsored by Blueprint Gaming, kicked off with several qualifying rounds. The top 16 players, comprising eight from online platforms and eight from retail venues, advanced to the grand final. They competed for a total prize pool of £25,000, with the winner taking home £10,000.
A Fun Experience for All Involved
The grand prize of £10,000 went to Andrew Thorpe who described the experience as “surreal” and said he was surprised to advance beyond he first round.
Robert Lee, Head of Meccabingo.com, celebrated the success of the event and said that it will be repeated.

Several New Initiatives Introduced by Mecca
This tournament is part of a series of new initiatives launched by Mecca Bingo this year. In January, they introduced Spingo, a combination of spin classes and bingo at their retail locations. April saw the launch of free line dancing classes, catering to the growing interest in ‘Cowboy Core’ in the UK.
Additionally, Mecca Bingo collaborated with ITV to create Loose Women-themed digital scratch cards, inspired by the popular talk show.
