Martin Martirosyan joins Digitain as Deputy CEO
Sportsbook software and iGaming provider Digitain has confirmed the appointment of Martin Martirosyan as its new Deputy CEO.
Before his Digitain appointment, Martirosyan served as the Director of Corporate Banking and Head of Wholesale Banking at HSBC Bank Armenia CJSC. During his tenure at the institution, Martirosyan held various positions, including Head of Wholesale Credit and Market Risk, Deputy Chief Risk Officer, and Deputy Head of Commercial Banking.
From October 2015 to October 2016, Martirosyan assumed the role of Senior Business Risk and Control Manager for Global Commercial Banking at HSBC Bank. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from Yerevan State University and has been invited to speak at the State Engineering University of Armenia on several occasions.
I’m honored to join the Digitain Group as it expands its business operations within continental Europe, the United Kingdom, and beyond. The business is an example of a great organization, people, culture, and technology delivery, which has been recognized with multiple international and local industry and business awards. I look forward to being part of this next period of Digitain’s growth story over the coming months and years ahead.
Since late last year, Digitain has been reshaping its executive board to further strengthen its leadership team and drive strategic growth initiatives. In October 2022, the company promoted Armine Sirunyan from Deputy COO to COO and, in April this year, announced the appointment of Grigor Asoyan as its new Deputy CEO of Technology.
Earlier this year, the provider opened a new office in Bucharest as part of its long-term European expansion strategy. It is likely to see the company open more offices around the world and appoint more local talent to support its global operations and better serve its expanding customer base.
