Marco Herrera Gets New Role at Interblock Gaming
Online casino games developer Interblock Gaming has confirmed the appointment of Marco Herrera as its new President of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
Herrera is one of the veterans in the industry with over 30 years of working experience. Before his new appointment, Herrera has been in the company since November 2021 as an Advisor to the CEO.
Prior to Interblock, he served at Scientific Games as VP and SVP of EMEA Gaming. He has also held senior VP and MD roles at Bally Technologies.

According to John Connelly, the CEO of Interblock Global, the appointment of Marco portends growth for the company as Marco's "experience in both the technology and commercial segments of the gaming industry will enable Interblock to enter the next phase of our strategic growth initiatives in a more rapid and seamless fashion."
In June 2022, Interblock was acquired by Oaktree Capital Management, a global asset management firm with investments in several gaming and leisure companies.
