LWRC Plans to Debut Online Sportsbook in the Philippines
Great news for Philippines sports bettors as Leisure and Resorts World Corporation (LWRC), a leading Manila gaming firm, has reportedly announced its plans of creating its first domestic retail and online sports betting platform in the country.
LWRC claimed to have received the necessary PIGO license to offer online betting services in the state. They aim to cater to the betting desires of local punters and give them the chance to stake across a wide range of betting markets.
LWRC gained prominence in the gambling world through its various eGaming facilities, powered by its AB Leisure Exponent Incorporated arm and regulated by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR).
The company is one of several gaming operators taking advantage of the PIGO scheme to meet the demands of the Philippines iGaming community.
The PIGO Act was launched by the Philippines government in November last year to help its giant land-based integrated resorts cushion the effects of the Corona Virus pandemic on their earnings.
The Act reportedly allows these companies to accept online bets and provide a vast range of iGaming services like sports betting, slots, keno, and other online casino games.
Manila’s gigantic resort, Solaire Resort and Casino, Resorts World Manila, and Okada Manila Integrated Resorts was the first operator to utilize the PIGO scheme. The enterprise was followed by Jade Entertainment and Gaming Technologies Incorporated and MegaSportsWorld.
The newest operator on the internet gaming block is LWRC who shows great optimism in setting up shop for the Philippines iGaming market.
GSports will provide a secure and safe betting website by using the latest encryption technologies to protect the sensitive information of its customers. Fairness and quality playing experience are to be guaranteed as all of its betting products and services are to be audited and regulated by PAGCOR.
