Listen to The Cult Playing BTG’s New Outlaw Slot
Big Time Gaming, the popular slots developer behind the Megaways mechanic, has announced the exclusive release of its new Outlaw slot on the Light & Wonder platform ahead of the game’s general release next week.
It is the third in a trilogy of BTG slots that were inspired by the music of the British rock band The Cult. The band’s song Outlaw was on its 1987 album Electric and two other tracks from the same album, Lil’ Devil and Wild Flower, are also the names of BTG slots.
Outlaw (the slot) uses BTG’s Megaways mechanic. This means that each base game spin can produce up to 117,649 ways to win. The slot also offers the chance of landing a massive x7 multiplier.
Players will have the choice of two bonus rounds, the Fallen Angel Free Spins, which features sticky wilds, and the Dizzy in the Head Free Spins, which features multiplier ladders. Special Gold Megascatter symbols can also land and trigger enhanced free spins round.
In jurisdictions where it is allowed, players can purchase the free spins for 70 times the bet or the enhanced free spins for 300 times the bet. Furthermore, the Win Exchange feature means that if a player wins between 25 and 100 times the bet, they can risk the payout for the chance to win free spins.
With its pulsating rock soundtrack from The Cult and cool Wild West imagery, this is my favorite of our latest releases. It has noise and energy, and it’s packed with cool features. It’s early days, but I think we could be looking at a hit.
Dylan Slaney, the Light & Wonder CEO of iGaming, described the slot saying it “oozes cool”. He added, “It’s really strong output from a company that is pushing the boundaries of how we think about casino gaming with each new release. We’re delighted to have the exclusive on this because it is top, top content.”
