He is set to become Non-Executive Director of the Board of Directors at IGT, while Marco Drago is to leave his position on the board at the end of his current term on 14 May. Furthermore, Gil Rotem is to extend his tenure as President of IGT PlayDigital.
Rotem Overseeing Expansion

Over the last five-plus years, IGT PlayDigital has established leadership positions in the global iGaming and North American sports betting sectors that will be foundational to the company's future success. I thank the entire IGT PlayDigital team for all that we have accomplished during this time, and I look forward to supporting IGT in a new capacity and further helping the Company define its vision and strategy.
Several New Deals
IGT PlayDigital signed a number of deals in North America over the course of 2023, and now it has shifted its focus back to Europe, starting with a partnership with NetBet in Denmark that will see the company provide its games to the casino.
