The gaming company has named Lori Olk as its new Senior Vice President (SVP), Regulatory Compliance & Chief Compliance Officer, and Scott Mineo as the Senior Vice President, Finance & Accounting.

Olk brings nearly 30 years of global experience to her expanded role, having spearheaded Konami’s global operations across hundreds of jurisdictions worldwide.

Additionally, Mineo’s rich career spans over three decades, with expertise gained in finance and accounting via his senior roles at top entertainment companies before joining Konami.

Konami Boosts North American Sales Leadership Team

The fresh appointments are coming barely a week after the company welcomed new members to its North American sales leadership team. Chris Rowe was appointed as Vice President of North America Game Sales, while Shane Thompson was tapped for the Director of Sales for Corporate Accounts role.

Prior to joining Konami, Rowe worked at Aristocrat Gaming for 18 years, out of which he spent over four and a half years in Macau as Managing Director, Asia-Pacific. Later, he moved to Las Vegas to take on the role of Managing Director of Latin America for the company.

Konami Expands Reach with New Deals

The new additions are strategic for Konami as it seeks to strengthen its position in the gaming industry. In July, the company signed an integration partnership deal with Ondiss to launch its online slot games in Argentina.

Under the terms of the deal, Casino City Center Online in Rosario, Argentina, will become the first to launch Konami’s slots via the Ondiss platform.

In the same month, Konami also extended its existing agreement with Caesars Digital, paving the way for the eventual rollout of its slots in West Virginia and New Jersey.
