Kindred Group, a leading online gambling operator, has reported a significant improvement in reducing the share of the revenue from harmful gambling during the first quarter of 2023. The share of the revenue from harmful gambling decreased to 3.0 percent, a positive trend that can be attributed to the company's efforts to enhance customers' responsible gambling journey. The improvement effect after interventions was 83.0 percent, indicating that early intervention is critical to preventing harmful gambling behavior.

Kindred's responsible gambling and customer-facing teams detected customers showing markers of harm, and swift interventions were made to prevent harmful behavior. Kindred Group also rolled out automated interventions in some of its markets to detect and engage with customers at risk. These automated technological solutions have shown initial signs of a positive trend, and the company expects further improvements in the future.
