Kindred Aids Gamban Debut in France
Kindred has added online gambling blocking app Gamban to its portfolio of responsible gambling tools in France, allowing its players to opt out of its platform if the need arises.
Kindred will feature the Gamban software on its flagship brand Unibet and starting from Nov. 10, its players in France will be able to use the application.
Gamban is a software players can use to block online gambling on all their installed devices if they feel they are getting addicted to gambling or want a break. The application offers a secure, reliable, and affordable option to stay away from gambling sites and apps,
while helping those with a gambling problem to fight the urge.
We are very excited to be assisting Kindred on their journey to derive 0% revenue from harmful gambling. Kindred’s voluntary commitment to offer Gamban for free in France means accessible blocking software can further protect those harmed by gambling from unlicensed operators outside the scope of regulation.
By integrating Gamban on its site, Kindred becomes the first operator in France to implement this tool. The software was not initially available in French, but Kindred sponsored and funded its development and localization to make it suitable for French players. Users will be able to self-exclude themselves from French licensed operators as well as block thousands of other gambling sites.
At Kindred, we want gambling to remain a fun source of entertainment. As an online gambling operator, we take our responsibility towards our players very seriously and want to provide them with the most effective support tools on the market. This is what the partnership between Unibet and Gamban is all about, and we encourage all gambling operators to adopt this solution in order to make it more widely available in France.
