Kero Gaming Completes Seed Round with $1million Generated
Provider of white label in-game sports betting products, Kero Gaming has announced the completion of its first external funding round in which the company raised $1million (£758,263/€909,979).
The total funds generated in the first round were contributed by several investors, including Benjie Cherniak of Avenue H Capital, Scott Secord representing Cardinal Sports Capital, Lloyd Danzig's Sharp Alpha Fund, and David Sargent of IGaming Ideas.
According to Kero, the seed funding would aid the company's further growth in the online sports betting industry.
Kero currently makes its games free-to-play for customers inside the apps of professional sports teams. However, the provider aims to release a real money betting version of its product for bookmakers in the third quarter of 2022.
In 2021, we doubled our client base across NBA and NFL teams and locked in multi-year agreements with existing clients. This was a clear signal of strong product market fit and a shared vision on the significance and evolution of in-game engagement and micro betting. Also sharing in our vision are some of the gaming industry's most formidable individuals and institutional investors. Their participation in our financing has drastically accelerated our ability to create transformative turnkey betting products.
