IGT Gains Another Responsible Gaming Certification in Italy
IGT Lottery, the lottery platform specialist and games content provider, has announced it has secured a sixth consecutive European Lotteries (EL) Responsible Gaming Certification in Italy, demonstrating its commitment to creating a safe environment for customers.

Additionally, the lottery provider has also achieved the highest award from the World Lottery Association (WLA) by securing its Responsible Gaming Level 4 certification.

IGT Bases its RG on Key Principles
IGT is a leading player in the industry and has a global presence and operates in more than 100 jurisdictions worldwide. It is the main provider of many state backed lottery operators globally and senior leadership at IGT say they are required to work closely with government regulators to ensure a high level of responsible gaming and integrity. This means that achieving these certifications makes it easier to show that IGT has met rigorous compliance standards.
IGT states it bases its RG strategy on three key points and firstly it tries to promote a positive gaming experience. It is also keen to prevent underage gambling and believes it should provide support and tools for those who are at risk from gambling related harms.
IGT signed an agreement with German-based lottery company LOTTO Thüringen earlier this year to supply lottery solutions.
