IGT Appoints Gil Rotem to Develop PlayCasino Business
Gil Rotem has been appointed as President of iGaming at International Gaming Technology PLC (IGT) (NYSE: IGT) with immediate effect.
Rotem will be working under Enrico Drago, the CEO of Digital & Betting at IGT, and he will be responsible for ensuring the continual development and expansion of the IGT PlayCasino business, which covers online gaming, poker, and bingo.
The IGT PlayCasino business continues to grow at a rapid pace, and it offers many of the gaming industry’s highest-performing and most-recognized game titles. We expect continued double-digit growth from IGT PlayCasino, and Gil Rotem’s vision and experience can help us remain well-positioned for continued leadership in iGaming, poker, and bingo.
Rotem has vast amounts of experience in the gambling industry. In the past, he has had senior roles at 888 and bet365, which saw him responsible for strategic board-level planning and operations. He has a proven track record of delivering high growth and improving on products. Most recently, Rotem worked as an independent consultant for an online sportsbook where he oversaw the development and delivery of a huge number of exclusive titles for the company’s proprietary games and jackpot platform.
