iGB L!VE 2024 Announce Plans to Feature Sustainable Gambling Zone
For the first time, iGB L!VE will have a Sustainable Gambling Zone.
iGB L!VE 2024 to host sustainable gambling zone in order to help at-risk gamblers.
It is being sponsored by IGT and it will host six organizations: Yaspa, Department of Trust, BetBlocker, GamCare, AGOG, and Safer Gambling Training.
The new zone is replacing the Consumer Protection Zone, and Ewa Bakun, Clarion Gaming’s Director of Industry Insight and Engagement, explained that this was decided after a great deal of consultation that revealed the industry is focusing more on making earlier interventions. This way, they hope to create a sustainable business and help at-risk players before they face issues connected to problem gambling or addiction.
Bakun added, “The focus is on building a safer gambling culture and achieving long-term sustainability rather than simply satisfying the regulatory requirements.”
The Impact of iGB L!VE
Naomi Barton, Portfolio Director for iGB L!VE, explained why they believe the new zone will have a significant impact on the industry.
We know from the dialogue that we have with stakeholders how much importance they place on using iGB L!VE to source new products, connect with new partners and to learn about the latest industry thinking. The Sustainable Gambling Zone, with its redefined focus, will deliver a fresh perspective on what is a key industry topic.
