idPair to Take National Self-Exclusion Program throughout US
idPair, the safer gaming technology provider, has announced the imminent launch of its new National Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program (NVSEP), firstly in the US state of New England, and then plans to offer the program to other regulated states in North America.
idPair announces the launch of NVSEP in New England.
The provider says that its NVSEP platform is set to be introduced to the New England gaming market in the summer of 2024, and has a timescale to launch in further states every month.
idPair boasts the NVSEP has two central benefits which include customers will face a seamless interface that will be familiar wherever they are located in the US. Additionally, the system will be able to provide unified datasets to different regulatory organizations in multiple US states.
idPair is an award-winning company that uses the latest technology to reduce gambling related harm. The provider has a range of tools developed for its responsible gaming platform including research, cool-off periods for players, and player deposit limits through cross-operators.
States do not have to change the terms of their individual programs to join NVSEP, a key detail that solves a problem that had held back this advancement in player protection for so long, The current state programs will coexist with the new option, giving consumers the flexibility to exclude from as many or as few states and products as they choose, including both land-based and online gambling. While current self-exclusion protections don’t travel, people do, and we look forward to working with more states to use technology to provide a more comprehensive level of protection for those who need it most.

Dec 20, 2024NVSEP to Provide a Unified Approach to Customer Care
This approach to try and establish a unified self-exclusion scheme has been applauded by many stakeholders in the gaming industry including the Massachusetts Council on Gaming and Health (MACGH) and the Gambling Research and Policy Initiative (GRPI).
Using the NVSEP system across multiple states in North America puts customer welfare at the center of the scheme, and uses one of the most effective responsible gaming tools to reduce gambling-related harm for players regardless of their location in the US.
A national program has been needed for a long time, and I am thrilled that New England has the potential to lead the way with this remarkable step forward to a more seamless approach to Voluntary Self-Exclusion. With the National VSE Program, individuals will soon have a unified platform for seeking help and support across the entire United States and receiving up to date information as it’s needed. I encourage all state gaming regulators to join this initiative to provide a stronger safety net for consumers.
