It allows guests to enjoy their favorite table games while competing in hourly jackpot drawings, with bets ranging from $1 to $100. Known in different regions as HotSeat Lotto or HotSeat Jackpot, this innovative concept enhances traditional hot-seat games using digital technology and a community-centric approach. Every table in the casino is equipped with a tablet that connects with all other tables. Each hour, a four-minute window opens for betting and players are notified via the tablet. Every dollar wagered during this window counts as an entry into the drawing so the prize grows as more players participate.

Lance Lietzau, CEO of HotSeat Jackpot, praised the partnership with Harrah’s Northern California for the US introduction of their product. He explained that the game has been a hit at several Mexican casinos and that as it can be configured to link multiple casinos of the same brand together, there were no problems launching it in a new country.
