GRID, one of the leading esports data providers, has announced it has joined the betting monitoring platform, the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) as an Associate Member, and the first esports specialist to join the organization.

GRID and IBIA Expand Collaboration

GRID has had a relationship with IBIA since 2022 and has gained certification in the monitoring company’s Data Standards framework. In this period both parties have worked closely to establish many of the trust protocols within the expanding esports industry.

By becoming an associate member GRID has the opportunity help to create the highest standards in esports betting in regulated gaming markets worldwide. In July the IBIA urged the LatAm region to try and adopt the Brazilian gaming legal framework, which requires gaming operators in the country to collaborate with a compliance partner.
