GiG Names Phil Richards as CFO for Its Platform & Sportsbook
Gaming Innovation Group (GiG), the iGaming technology solutions and services provider, has announced the appointment of Phil Richards as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for its Platform & Sportsbook division, in a move to strengthen its leadership team.

LISTEN TO THIS ARTICLE:Richards has held many senior positions in major companies, most recently as Corero Network Security plc where he served as CFO. Additionally, he gained extensive industry experience with roles at Kambi, Shell, and KPMG in the iGaming, cybersecurity, and accounting sectors.
In his position as CFO, Richards has been tasked with bringing financial discipline to the company to support the provider in meeting its strategic objectives.
An example of the company’s growth is the recent GiG launch of its SweepX platform in the US.

In this statement, the iGaming provider said the company was intent on bringing together a strong senior leadership team and sees Phil Richards as a major part of this transition.
GiG gave details of Richards's responsibilities, which will include overseeing mergers and acquisitions and investor relations. He will also play a pivotal role when the planned Platform & Sportsbook listing at Nasdaq Stockholm takes place.
