Gates of Olympus Wins EGR Game of the Year
Pragmatic Play, one of the leading iGaming developers, has further cemented its reputation within the industry after winning the highly sought-after Game of the Year award at the EGR Operator Awards.
The prestigious ceremony took place this week at Grosvenor House in London, and Pragmatic Play received the award for the Gates of Olympus slot.
Gates of Olympus is a 6 reel slot that is set in Zeus’ realm. It features a unique pay anywhere system that replaces the traditional payline format and sees players rewarded simply for landing enough matching symbols on the reel set. The slot also offers players huge multipliers of up to x500 as well as a free spins round with the potential for even larger multipliers.
It has been a highly successful year for the developer. Pragmatic Play won a number of awards at the SBC Latinoamerica and Gaming Intelligence Latin America Awards, as well as the Starlet Awards held by 5 Star. The company has also enjoyed significant commercial growth and product expansion over the last twelve months and launched a number of exciting and successful new products, including a new jackpot feature called Drop Pots.
We are delighted and honored to have won Game of the Year at the EGR Operator Awards amongst a highly contested shortlist. We’re thrilled that Gates of Olympus has been enjoyed so much by the players. It is testament to the hard work of the entire Pragmatic Play family, and we’re thankful to all those who put on such a fantastic event in London.
Other winners at the ceremony included 888casino, which bagged the Casino Operator award, Entain, which won Operator of the Year, MrQ.com, which won Slots Operator, and Sky Betting and Gaming, which won Diversity and Inclusion Model.
