GamCare Awards Safer Gambling Accreditation to Admiral Casino
Admiral Casino, Greentube Alderney’s online brand, has received the GamCare Safer Gambling Standard in the UK accreditation.
The accreditation is proof of the casino’s commitment to safer gambling and an endorsement of the tools and player protections it offers. In order to obtain the Advance Level 2 accreditation from GamCare, which is the UK’s leading gambling charity, the casino underwent an independent quality assessment of the measures it has put in place to protect its players.
This included an in-depth review of all of the casino’s safer gambling policies and processes, as well as extensive customer case reviews and interviews with key members of staff.
Greentube has now said that moving forward, it will seek to build upon its already high standards. It hopes to achieve the top-level Advanced Level 3 accreditation in the near future.
Speaking about the accreditation, Greentube’s Head of UK Compliance Adam Mason said, “We are extremely proud of everyone at Admiral Casino, especially the Player Protection Team, who work extremely hard to keep our customers safe and minimize gambling-related harm.”
We have made significant investment in both people and technology to ensure gambling with Admiral Casino is as safe as possible. Achieving this accreditation is confirmation of the improvements we have made and will continue to make in the future.
A spokesperson for GamCare added, “It was clear from the assessment that Greentube Alderney Ltd has undertaken a significant amount of work in improving its approach to safer gambling.”
The accreditation marks a turnaround for Greentube Alderney after it was fined £685,000 by the UKGC last year for failings in social responsibility and money laundering.
