GamCare Announce Appointment of Alexa Roseblade as New Chief of Staff
GamCare has appointed Alexa Roseblade as its new Chief of Staff, effective immediately.

LISTEN TO THIS ARTICLE:Roseblade’s new position places her within the Leadership Team, where she will manage the charity’s annual governance program, operational execution, and internal processes.
Her responsibilities also include fostering relationships and partnerships to further GamCare’s mission of supporting people affected by gambling harm.
Former Head of Children and Young People’s Team
Roseblade has been with GamCare for four years, previously overseeing the Children and Young People’s Team. This team manages the Young People’s Service and the Young People’s Gambling Harm Prevention Programme (YPGHPP).
Since its inception in April 2020, the YPGHPP has collaborated with regional support providers, reaching 133,000 young people and 28,000 professionals through workshops. The program aims to prevent gambling-related problems among youth by providing support services and digital resources.
Prior to joining GamCare, Roseblade held various roles at Cancer Research UK, where she contributed to international operations, strategy, and the charity’s philanthropic efforts.

Further Changes at GamCare
This announcement comes shortly after Tim Hodgetts was named GamCare’s new Director of Clinical Operations, set to join in August 2024.
I am delighted to welcome Alexa as our new Chief of Staff, following on from her important work in our Children and Young People’s services and helping develop GamCare into the charity it is today.
Roseblade explained that during her time with GamCare, she has seen “the vital work our dedicated staff delivers for those who need our support” through the Helpline and Treatment services as well as the prevention and educational programs. She added that she is “looking forward to working closely with GamCare’s staff and Board as we enter a new chapter for gambling support services in the UK.”
