FanDuel Appoints Alison Kutler as VP for Sustainability and Responsible Gaming
LISTEN TO THIS ARTICLE:In a significant move to bolster its commitment to responsible gaming and sustainability, FanDuel Group, the leading online gaming company in the United States, has announced the appointment of Alison Kutler as its vice president for sustainability and responsible gaming.
With an illustrious career spanning over 25 years in high-level government and private sector roles, Kutler's extensive experience in public policy and regulatory affairs will be vital as she takes the reins of the company's responsible gaming (RG) practice.
Prior to joining FanDuel, Kutler served as the Senior Vice President of Global Government Affairs for Dapper Labs, a prominent NFT and blockchain developer. She also held key roles at Visa as the Senior Vice President of Government Affairs-Americas and worked as a Principal at PwC.
Kutler's wide-ranging expertise makes her a valuable addition to the FanDuel team, where she will now lead the RG organization, overseeing responsible gaming policy and regulatory affairs, training, product development, and operations. Additionally, she will be in charge of managing the company's advocacy teams, focusing on FanDuel's Sportsbook, Casino, Racing, Daily Fantasy, and Retail functions.

The plan encompasses various initiatives that aim to support customers, staff, and the public in areas such as safer gambling, diversity and inclusion, community initiatives, and environmental impact. With Kutler at the helm of the RG organization, FanDuel is set to further strengthen its commitment to these initiatives and promote responsible gaming practices within the industry.
This appointment follows a series of recent responsible gaming initiatives by FanDuel, including the celebration of the 20th anniversary of Problem Gambling Awareness Month in March. The company also introduced a range of new measures in September, coinciding with the American Gaming Association's Responsible Gaming Education Month.
