90,000 Square Feet of Gaming and 320-Room Luxury Hotel

The launch is a major milestone for the hospitality and gaming scene in Southern Virginia and it promises excitement for both residents and visitors. The expansive 587,000-square-foot property features over 90,000 square feet of gaming space. Guests will find close to 1,500 state-of-the-art slot machines, 79 live table games, 48 electronic gaming tables, a dedicated room for World Series of Poker events, and a Caesars Sportsbook. Beyond gaming, Caesars Virginia offers a luxurious 320-room hotel tower overlooking Danville’s landscape, including the iconic “Three Sisters” smokestacks.

Barron Fuller, regional president of Caesars Entertainment, spoke of the project’s value to the community, highlighting its potential to enhance the local economy. Fuller praised the meticulous planning and design that shaped Caesars Virginia, reinforcing the brand’s reputation for luxury while creating new employment opportunities and drawing tourism to the region.

The project represents a large investment in Danville, developed in collaboration with EBCI Holdings and the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. Senior Vice President and General Manager Chris Albrecht said that hiring efforts have gone well, with over 1,200 positions expected to be filled by opening day, building on the 400 staff members employed since the temporary Danville Casino began operations in May 2023.

Albrecht highlighted their commitment to exceptional service through local training initiatives and ongoing collaboration with the community. The resort aims to deliver Caesars’ signature “Family Style Service”, ensuring that guests enjoy memorable experiences at the property.
