iGaming software supplier EveryMatrix has received interim authorization from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, allowing it to offer its software and services to licensed operators in the state.

With the approval, Pennsylvania becomes the sixth jurisdiction in North America where the provider will be operational. It holds licenses in Connecticut, Michigan, New Jersey, West Virginia, and the Canadian province of Ontario.

EveryMatrix’s goal has been to obtain direct partnerships with leading operators and to ensure full market access. With regulatory approval in Pennsylvania, we have obtained just that. This is a great start to 2024. We will continue to roll out our games portfolio and aggregation services to fill both the content gap and add rich bonuses and gamification features that will be completely new to the US market.

Lucrative Pennsylvania iGaming Market

Pennsylvania is one of the six states that legalize online gambling in the United States, including Connecticut, Delaware, Michigan, New Jersey, and Virginia. The state launched its online gambling market in 2017 and is home to various popular online gambling platforms like DraftKings, BetMGM, FanDuel, and Hollywood.

Last month, the PGCB released the state’s gaming revenue results for 2023, showing a record total of $5.7bn, up by 9.3% from 2022’s revenue of $5.21bn.

iGaming was the main catalyst for this growth, generating a total revenue of $1.74bn in 2023, an increase of nearly 28% compared to 2022. These figures indicate that the PA online casino and sports betting are a thriving market for any operator and provider seeking opportunities in the dynamic gaming sector. The jurisdiction will no doubt significantly impact EveryMatrix’s future financial reports.

“This will significantly boost our customers’ portfolios with proven, localized revenue-generating titles and present US players with the ultimate user experience that they can only receive via EveryMatrix.” Nyman added.

Two Fresh Appointments

Last month, EveryMatrix made two new important additions to its leadership team, including Stian Hornsletten as its CEO of Games Division and Bobby Longhurst as Group Chief Commercial Officer.

Hornsletten is tasked with the responsibility of growing the distribution network of EveryMatrix and expanding its exclusive content portfolio. Longhurst, who has worked in the industry for over two decades, will oversee EveryMatrix’s commercial strategy for its global services, including the company’s sales marketing and account management.
