DraftKings Adds Four New Sport Shows to Program Schedule
American sports betting and daily fantasy sports company DraftKings has launched four brand new sports shows with Meadowlark.
The new shows are part of the ongoing partnership agreement signed by the two brands last year that saw the two companies jointly distribute "The Dan Le Barnard Show with Stugotz," Basketball Illuminati, and Underdogs.
The four new ventures to the DraftKings programming schedule will further augment the range and scope of the company's content portfolio. Some programs will be available on YouTube and in podcast form. 'Shutdown Fullcast' is a relaunch of the flagship college football show and will be hosted by Spencer Hall, Holly Anderson, Jason Kirk, and Ryan Nanni.
'Too Many Men' features seasoned hosts like Alison Lukan, Sara Civian, and Shayna Goldman, giving expert hockey insight and analysis. 'The Cooligans' adds a humorous twist to the game of soccer. It features comedians Alexis Guerreros and Christian Polanco as they talk about domestic and international matches. 'DNF' (Did Not Finish) is an F1 program featuring Meadowlark's Jessica Smetana and Spencer Hall. The two hosts will provide updates and analyses on every aspect of F1 races; the show will also be available as a podcast.
In just over a year, DraftKings has significantly grown its media portfolio. With Meadowlark as a content partner, we are well-positioned to continue to add more new shows to our growing line-up of original programming for fans interested in authentic voices and a modern take on the sports conversation.
The distribution and sponsorship deal signed by the two brands is scheduled to last for three years. As such, Meadowlark will continue to create and deliver different content across audio, television, digital and social channels to DraftKings.
With DraftKings, we continue to develop a dynamic talent network with the most diverse voices across sports and beyond – voices that reflect the changing demographic. When you combine that with new formats – it's very exciting.
In April, DraftKings announced its plans to launch a sportsbook in Puerto Rico, the second betting platform the firm would open in a Foxwoods casino after debuting the first at the Foxwoods casino in Connecticut.
