Meanwhile, a bill aiming to expand mobile sports betting options within Delaware has recently been introduced in the House.
The bill, HB 365, proposes a competitive mobile sports wagering market, away from the current system, that would give residents access to a wider range of sports betting apps operated by different sportsbooks.
Proponents of the bill, including the bipartisan Internet Sports Lottery Legislative Working Group, also believe that opening the market to third-party operators will generate more revenue for the state.
