Claire Bailiss Announced as Sportingtech’s New Chief People Officer
Sportingtech has appointed Claire Bailiss as its new Chief People Officer (CPO). Bailiss brings three decades of experience in human resources (HR), having worked at several major organizations over the course of her career.
LISTEN TO THIS ARTICLE:From 1994 to 2003, Bailiss was Human Resources Manager at EMI Group. From there, she moved to Turner Broadcasting System, where she held the same role until May 2012. Next, Bailiss moved to Ask.com where she was an HR Business Partner and worked alongside the company’s management in areas such as performance management, employee relations, training, and development.
The Move to iGaming
Following her time at Ask.com, Bailiss was appointed Head of HR at GAN and in March 2021, she was promoted to Director, HR (Europe).
Bailiss spent a total of seven and a half years with GAN. In her new job, she will be charged with developing and realizing Sportingtech’s human resource strategies and policies, and she will be leading an HR and talent acquisition team. Her responsibilities will include boosting diversity, equality, and inclusion at Sportingtech while building a positive environment.

Following her appointment, Bailiss explained how she hopes to build on the company’s successes.

The company’s CEO, Tom Ustunel, warmly welcomed Bailiss, saying that he was “delighted” with the appointment and praising her for “successfully building high-performing teams and fostering positive environments for more than two decades.”
