Carolyn Renzin Becomes New FanDuel Chief Legal Officer
Leading sports betting operator FanDuel has announced Carolyn Renzin as its new Chief Legal Officer.
Renzin is currently the Chief Compliance Officer of FanDuel Group and will continue to work in this position with her newly appointed role.
Her new position attracts duties like overseeing legal, risk, regulatory engagement, compliance, and responsible gaming for FanDuel. She will also work with her team to ensure the company continues upholding customer safety, security and compliance.
Before joining FanDuel Group, Renzin served at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co as an Assitant General Counsel, where she worked as a regulatory litigator and in the Office of the General Counsel.
She has also gathered salient experience working as a compliance consultant at Guidepost Solutions and litigation and regulatory enforcement divisions at law firm Stillman, Friedman, and Shechtman.
Renzin's promotion follows the appointment of Christian Genetski as the company's President in July 2022.
Carolyn is a passionate, bright, empathetic, and extremely hard-working leader and colleague. In her time at FanDuel, she has led transformative change for our business in building out a regulatory and compliance function befitting the current and future scale of our company, and I'm confident she is the right choice to lead our high-performing legal team going forward.
