Caesars Entertainment Unveils Mobile Sportsbook in Illinois

Leading gambling operator Caesars Entertainment has unveiled its sportsbook app in Illinois, thereby making its mobile sports betting service available to punters within the region.

Caesars mobile sportsbook is powered by advanced software called Liberty. Via the application, bettors in Illinois can wager on a wide range of sports, participate in Caesars' loyalty program, and earn rewards. They will earn Tier Points and Rewards Credits every time they place a bet and can convert them for exclusive rewards or live experiences at Caesars resorts.

Caesars offers new members a free bet insurance offer to promote the application where a player will earn a cashback of the same amount they lost if they wager up to $1,100.

The state of Illinois has legalized online sports betting since June 2020: However, before customers could wager online, they had to register in-person at a casino, which according to experts, was no doubt limiting.

However, the rule of in-person registration was permanently waived last week, thereby allowing more operators to launch their betting products in the jurisdiction easily. One of them includes BetMGM, which launched its sports betting app in Illinois on 7 March.

With the launch in Illinois, Caesar's sportsbook is now available to punters across 22 states in the US, 16 of which are through its mobile sportsbook application. The gambling firm also runs the largest network of retail sportsbooks in the United States.
