Betway Licence Extension for Its Sportsbook in Germany

Betway, the global sportsbook and gaming operator, has announced that German regulators have extended their license to continue operating its sportsbook in the regulated gaming market in Germany.

Super Group is the parent company of Betway, and players in the German jurisdiction can continue to enjoy the popular sportsbook offering from the operator. Betway states that it focuses on the responsible aspects of its customer’s gambling, and this ensures the long-term future of the company’s client base.

Betway has a strong presence in the German market, particularly with its sponsorship of sports in the country. Football is the cornerstone of the sponsorship strategy at Betway, and the operator has deals with some household names in German football, including Eintracht Frankfurt, VfB Stuttgart, Hertha Berlin, Werder Bremen, and Schalke 04.

Additionally, the gaming operator also sponsors Tennis in Germany, including 3 of the 4 ATP tournaments in the country. Betway is the Official Betting Partner for the Boss Open, the Terra Wortmann Open, and the Hamburg Open.

Betway has opened a new office in Dusseldorf, Germany with a view to customizing the company’s Sportsbook specifically for players in the German markets.
