Betsson’s Betsafe Brand Goes Live in Ontario
The international gambling operator Betsson has announced the launch of its Betsafe brand in the Ontario market after it received operator and supplier licenses for the province.
Through Betsafe, Betsson is offering a number of B2C products, including sports betting and an online casino. Players in Ontario will be able to enjoy the verticals through a localized website as well as through Betsson’s native mobile apps.
Betsson has carefully curated the product selection to ensure that it is appealing to North American players.
The operator has also received a supplier license that will allow it to provide sportsbook service to other operators on a B2B basis.
We are pleased to obtain the necessary licenses to operate with both a B2C and B2B offering in the locally regulated online gaming market in Ontario. We are convinced that there are great opportunities for Betsson in Ontario in both the B2C and B2B channels as we bring a highly competitive offering to the market.
It has been a busy few weeks for Betsson. The company signed a deal with Pariplay to gain access to the Fusion platform, enabling it to offer players a far wider choice of games. At the start of the month, it also signed a content deal with Bragg Gaming. In addition to receiving licenses in Ontario, the company was also awarded a license to operate in Cordoba, Argentina.
