Players in the Nordic nation are promised a comprehensive gaming experience featuring sports betting, live casino, and the MGM Jackpot, which, according to LeoVegas Group, boasts the largest payout in Sweden.

BetMGM’s offering in Sweden will mirror its existing offering in other regions. It will be complemented by live casino games featuring real-time table action streamed directly from the Bellagio in Las Vegas.

BetMGM Sweden will also premiere Super Swedes, an innovative odds boost feature allowing punters to support and bet on top Swedish teams, athletes, and clubs on the international stage.

BetMGM Builds on UK and Dutch Success

Sweden is the third market BetMGM will be entering beyond North American borders. The brand’s European expansion began when it entered the UK last September. This was followed by the operator’s Netherlands launch in April, aiming to replicate its British success across the continent.

BetMGM was primarily created as a US-focused brand through a joint venture between MGM Resorts and Entain. In 2022, MGM acquired LeoVegas for $604 million and later purchased Tipico’s US betting platform in June to bolster its Brazil expansion and leverage LeoVegas’ sports betting technology.
